About this ebook

Stephen King’s ultimate evil vehicle of terror, Christine: the frightening story of a nerdy teenager who falls in love with his vintage Plymouth Fury. It’s love at first sight, but this car is no lady.

Evil is alive in Libertyville. It inhabits a custom-painted red and white 1958 Plymouth Fury named Christine and young Arnold Cunningham, who buys it.

Along with Arnold’s girlfriend, Leigh Cabot, Dennis Guilder attempts to find out the real truth behind Christine and finds more than he bargained for: from murder to suicide, there’s a peculiar feeling that surrounds Christine—she gets revenge on anyone standing in her path.

Can Dennis save Arnold from the wrath of Christine? This #1 national bestseller is “Vintage Stephen King…breathtaking…awesome. Carries such momentum the reader must force himself to slow down” (The New York Times Book Review).

Growing up, I've pretty much read every King novel.. *except* for a just a very few, including this one. For some reason, it was always eluding me. I'm one of the biggest readers of King and "Christine" is one of my favorites of his.. I've been way more familiar with Arnie's story through the Carpenter film (which was great in its own right), and it was a rare moment for me to have a preconceived notion of the imagination coming from an adaptation of one of his books, instead of the other way around. When you see the film version first, of a King novel, it can be both a detriment to your own imagination of how the world he builds and it can be supplemental.. this was both of it for me here... and as a self-professed cinephiliac, I must say to no surprise.. when it comes to King (or any author, for that matter), the books are better. They always are, and they always will be.

The book pulls you in like christine pulls in arnie. You turn page after page and time just flies away. Soon your quarter way through book and you havent even realized. Its like the pages are holding your eyes prisoner and you cant let out. One hell of a read. Would definitley recommend.

Stephen King is a truly amazing writer (I think we all know that), and this, I must say, is some of his finest work of arts! He really does a great job with characters and imagery, and that is why he is my favorite novelist. Christine was excellent, scary, and thrilling! A must read for any of you Stephen King fans.
