I have read a lot of rockstar biographies. And I mean, a lot. I hate to say this is the worst one I've ever tried to read. This book is a slog to get through from beginning to end with no strong narrative styl to tie together a string of facts (that aren't even accurate a lot of the time). The author is misogynistic in language constantly. The references to her body weight and other women's looks and linking them to their sense of worth comes across as ignorant and dismissive. I forced myself to make it 75% of the way and put it down... Stevie is such an engaging human and this book was skin deep.
