Each chapter touches on a specific type of gaslighter like parents, friends, romantic relationships, etc. But by touching on all of these situations the book does a disservice to the reader. It is devoid of much practical advice other than the obvious "avoid gaslighters as much as possible." I have a sibling who lies constantly and denies she is this kind of manipulative person. I was hoping this book would have more useful advice on dealing with her but it just lists all the behaviors of gaslighters in different situations and says, "for more help go to blah, blah, blah dot com."
