Spider-Man. This name. A character, yes, but also a comic book series, a movie, another movie, more movies, so many TV shows, many games, and so many other things. The name has been misused over the years. The Amazing Spider-Man movie is, as we all know, bad. The Ultimate Spider-Man TV series and Marvel's Spider-Man series are not good at all. This collection of comics shows why. This is what Spidey is. This is my Spider-Man, not Andrew Garfield's take on him, not Tom Holland, not even Tobey Maguire. This is one of my favorite versions of Spidey aside from Insomniac Games's take. This is because this is Peter Parker's personality, not a revenge-hungry "hero," not an over-reliant-on-Tony-Stark moron, and certainly not the new TV series's take on him. This is Spidey, and this is what you should read to get into Spidey because of this being the original and 2nd best take on him aside from Insom's version. Buy this. Read this. It's amazing.
