Initially Cole is unhappy that Eden has returned home but his feelings are mixed; he also wants her to stay. I loved his relationship with his son Jasper, so heart-warming. There was a lot of angst in this story but it is also a story of hope and one that ticked most of the boxes for me. Can they come to terms with the past and move forward together, creating a family? Wow! What a great start to a new series. So well written and sooo emotional. I was hooked from the first page. I loved Cole and his journey to take control of his life while Eden tries to heal and move forward.
