About this ebook

THE #1 INTERNATIONAL BESTSELLER WITH OVER 28 MILLION COPIES IN PRINT!

A timeless business classic, Who Moved My Cheese? uses a simple parable to reveal profound truths about dealing with change so that you can enjoy less stress and more success in your work and in your life.

It would be all so easy if you had a map to the Maze.
If the same old routines worked.
If they'd just stop moving "The Cheese."
But things keep changing...

Most people are fearful of change, both personal and professional, because they don't have any control over how or when it happens to them. Since change happens either to the individual or by the individual, Dr. Spencer Johnson, the coauthor of the multimillion bestseller The One Minute Manager, uses a deceptively simple story to show that when it comes to living in a rapidly changing world, what matters most is your attitude.

Exploring a simple way to take the fear and anxiety out of managing the future, Who Moved My Cheese? can help you discover how to anticipate, acknowledge, and accept change in order to have a positive impact on your job, your relationships, and every aspect of your life.

It's an amazing story; you learn about what it feels to stay in the same lane and to adapt to changes. The reason it's 4/5 from me is because the size of the story/book doesn't equal the price. It would be better to explain in great detail the lessons and how you can apply them in real life. I know the discussion uses some examples, but it would be more informative applying better examples.

The forward immediately came across as defensive claiming that anyone who didn't like this book was opposed to change in general. When I began to read the actual "Who moved my cheese" section, it read like a repetitive (and poorly translated) children's tale. While the "embrace change" ideal throughout the book is a good mentality, but driven home ad nauseum. This entire story could be condensed to five pages and still garner the same effect. Now onto the unnecessary faux highschool reunion portion of the story: This part reads like the cheesiest infomercial script I have ever seen. Existing only to circle jerk about how universally applicable and poignant the cheese story is to every single possible situation in life, this wrap-up drives home the message several times more just in case you didn't catch it the first thirty five times. In summation, if somebody enthusiastically recommends this, they are probably a dullard or they believe you are.

A friend of mine suggested this small book at a gathering. I would suggest this book to anyone, close friend or stranger, that are lost in their maze and hesitating in their pursue of the "Cheese". I am sure I will re-read the book multiple times and invite you to take an hour or so to do the same, and discuss it with your friends and loved ones.
