Ratings and reviews

Sophie Kinsella's first attempt at YA fiction- and it was a great attempt. But an "attempt" is all it felt like. The romance was too convenient and too faced paced -- seeming a little unrealistic compared to her other novels. The first person prose where the protagonist talks directly to the audience was initially so annoying I didn't want to continue. I put the book down because I've lost interest but as always, Kinsella keeps me laughing with the protagonist's hilarious family 3/5 stars

The problem with the book is that we never get to find out what actually happened. I think the storyline was a bit underdeveloped.

This book was great! I read it in a week, (Not on here but in real life.)
