I'm tired of dumbing myself down to read these books. It's not necessary to use slang and purposely write errors, ignorantly assuming that will make your book better. Its a book, not a text msg. I know the characters are black, you shouldn't have to stereotype them. I couldn't even finish the book. The grammar and misplaced/misspelled words were enough to make me cringe...sorry but you could do better. Make sure you go through and fully edit your work before publishing it. You never know who's reading.

Hooking back up with him brings back episodes of hot sex and his sudden dependence makes Shanisha think that this could be more. So caught up in him, she loses her day job and a prized guitar.
