About this ebook

INSTANT #1 NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER
INSTANT USA TODAY BESTSELLER

The long-anticipated sequel to Sister Souljah’s million copy New York Times bestseller The Coldest Winter Ever.

Winter Santiaga hit time served. Still stunning, still pretty, still bold, still loves her father more than any man in the world, still got her hustle and high fashion flow. She’s eager to pay back her enemies, rebuild her father’s empire, reset his crown, and ultimately to snatch Midnight back into her life no matter which bitch had him while she was locked up. But Winter is not the only one with revenge on her mind. Simone, Winter’s young business partner and friend, is locked and loaded and Winter is her target. Will she blow Winter’s head off? Can Winter dodge the bullets? Or will at least one bullet blast Winter into another world? Either way Winter is fearless. Hell is the same as any hood and certainly the Brooklyn hood she grew up in. That’s what Winter thinks.

A heartwarming, heart-burning, passionate, sexual, comical, and completely original adventure is about to happen in real time—raw, shocking, soulful, and shameless. True fans won’t let Winter travel alone on this amazing journey.

I don't think any of the reviews above have actually read this book. You are giving it 5 stars based on The Coldest Winter Ever. You in for a rude awakening. It is absolutely NOTHING like its predecessor. This story was poorly written and all over the place. It didn't make sense, it was crude, homophobic, demonic and just odd. I have no idea how it was green lit for publishing. I LOVED Winter Santiaga's story and if you are looking for a proper sequel, this isn't it. This book was so bad I don't even want it on the shelf next to my other books.

There is always some level of immaturity when I read these books. Also seems as though sista souja idolizes light skin and or puts down black women especially american black women. Not impressed and was really an irritating read. Maybe because I've grown up but it doesn't seem like she's matured in her way of writing. Winter is annoying and had my eyes rolling throughout the book. Anyone that idolizes this sad character needs guidance. Also she kept using words that have no meaning as far as slang goes. This book was nothing to brag about even rereading the first book of winter was irritating. I'm glad I have grown up and matured. Not everyone idolizes Allah either and to put down other religions because that's what you practice is also very immature. Good luck reading this book it did nothing for me. I kept hoping Winter would have changed. The book had no depth to it and a lot of the story line made absolutely no sense & was all over the place would ask for my money back if I could.

I bought the book and then I read the reviews, which made me feel crazy for buying it. I would recommend buying if you are a fan of the author. I finally finished and overall I enjoyed it. The book was different and there were some parts that I just didn't want to imagine. If you can get pass those parts it gets interesting because you want to know what happens. I bought this book wanting more of what I got from a "deeper love within" and "midnight" which were both great reads. I liked the spiritual part of the book. I for one never cared for Winter but seeing her in a more humble way made her seem more authentic, it made the Santiaga family seem more real.
