I love the fact that all different kinds of learning methods are used to teach a child. In public schools, we do a gross disservice to those children who are not rote learners. Those who are tactile or sensory learners are left behind and not celebrated for their gifted views of the world around them. They are labeled as slow or lazy learners which is a huge lifelong stigma and a potential killer. Shameful!

Thoroughly enjoyed this book, lots of good reminders about our role as parents and how we can help and guide our child along as they grow. Definitely worth a read if you are interested in incorporating Montessori principles in your daily lives!

very well written handbook about montessori inspired parenting. it was a breeze to read and a very practical book. it gave me a lot of inspiration!
