This book is timeless and contains some of Jackson's best work, but unfortunately this edition is riddled with formatting errors. All of the emphasis from the print edition has been lost, and the book is full of obvious typographical mistakes. The overall reading experience is badly diminished, and until the publisher issues a corrected version, I can't recommend this one.

What can I say,I love Shirley Jackson, She's an awesome mix of Erma Bombeck andAlfred Hitchcock.
About the author
Shirley Jackson (1919-1965), the author of The Haunting of Hill House, Hangsaman, Life Among the Savages, and We Have Always Lived in the Castle, is considered one of the masters of modern gothic fiction. She is perhaps best known for her short story "The Lottery."
