One of my few main sources of inspiration. Shannon has not only wowed me with her book, but actually made me love writing. Starting a book now, in hopes that one day, it'll touch the hearts of many just as hers did. To the people reading; this series will not disappoint you. Get ready for a mind blowing experience from Sophie and her friends. :)

All of Shannon's books are amazing and I absolutely love them. I'm sure this one will be as great as all of her other books, and probably better. Each one I read seems to be better than the last! I'm absolutely obsessed with this series and would recommend it to readers of any age, especially fans of fantasy-adventure novels. The "Keeper if the Lost Cities" series is easily the best book series I've read, and that's saying a lot. I'm 14 and have read tons of novels, but still none quite as good as this series. It is a must read! :)

I can't wait for the next book! I love the way Shannon surprises us with all the unexpected twists and turns in the story plot. She always has me sitting on the edge of my seat while I read. I love the series so much that I reread them any time I can. To impathise how good this series is Im a junior in high school. :)

Shannon Messenger graduated from the USC School of Cinematic Arts, where she learned—among other things—that she liked watching movies much better than making them. She studied art, screenwriting, and television production but realized her real passion was writing for kids and teens.
