Ratings and reviews

10 pages in and all I've gotten was a definition of an intern and exposition on the company. No idea about the character or any action at all. Maybe it gets better, so if you can slog through the beginning, go for it. I'm not a big fan of fiction, so it has to be near flawless for me to give it my time. When a highly skilled assassin uses the word DUH I'm not interested in the character and thus thinking this isn't worth it for me.

Only problem I've had with this series so far is that they are way too short. Besides that, easily the funniest assassin themed books I've ever read. Great read.

I'm not the reader type at all. This was free to download and it looked interesting. I loved it, a funny and thrilling prequel. I'm buying the book right now and hope to love it as much

Shane Kuhn is a writer, director, and producer with twenty years of experience working in feature films, documentaries, and advertising. He is a cofounder and executive board member of the Slamdance Film Festival, and a member of the Writer’s Guild of America. He lives in Colorado and works as Vice President of Creative Services for a San Francisco-based media and special events company. He is the author of The Asset, The Intern’s Handbook, bought for film by Sony Pictures, and Hostile Takeover, the second book in his John Lago intern-assassin thriller series.
