There is nothing more enjoyable than when the team playboy falls hard. Aaron Wylde tends to act just like his last name states....wild. He's always up for a great party or a great puck bunny. While out jogging one day Wylde is stopped in his tracks by a redheaded beauty inside of a book store. Wylde decides to go inside and turn and the charm. After all he needs a date for Erik and Blue's wedding and this redhead may just be perfect. Too bad Clarke Webber, the owner of the bookstore isn't interested in Wylde's flirty ways. Wylde decides to challenge Clarke with a bet where if she loses she has to go to the wedding with him. By the time he leaves, he has two dates lined up with Clarke. As Wylde and Clarke spend more time together, they start to both realize that what they thought the other person was like was totally wrong and they really like each other. For the first time in his life, Wylde does not want to have the playboy type lifestyle. Instead he feels that he may have found his forever with Clarke. Just when it looks like things are going perfectly, things from their pasts come back to haunt them. It will take a lot of soul searching and trust in order for these to finally get to their happy ever after. I just adored Clarke. She is someone I would be friends with. Clarke is smart and honest and a truly wonderful person. I really enjoyed watching Wylde change from the team playboy into a one-woman man. I loved how Clarke called him Aaron instead of Wylde. It was like he had two different personas. I really enjoyed all the weddings that they went to. It was fun seeing past couples finally get their dreams come true. Overall this was another great addition to this series.

Audio Review I love this series. I'm not really a sports fan and even though this is a series about hockey it isn't focused on the sport but on the great bunch of men that are part of the team. They each have their own troubles and pains and together they get through whatever comes up. They are more than just a team, they are family and all of the characters have been wonderful to get to know. This book is about Aaron Wylde who is labeled as the "Wylde" man where women are concerned. The quintessential playboy using not only his fame as a hockey player but his charm and good looks to get with the ladies. He definitely isn't looking for love but when he passes the little book store and sees Clarke for the first time he is awe struck and finds himself doing things he has never done before. Clarke isn't looking for love and especially with someone famous. Been there done that and not repeating but Aaron is persistent and she finds there is more to this handsome man than just his looks and fame and she likes what she is seeing. I keep thinking there isn't any way for the author to keep this series going but oh she does and I am pulled further and further in to their world. I love these characters with all their flaws and love and drama they have to work through. These can be read as a stand alone as each book tells the story of a specific player and his love but the entire series is so good I recommend you read/listen to each book. They have all been 5 stars for me. Great story, well written, gives you plenty of "feels", and then you add the talents of Teddy Hamilton and CJ Bloom to narrate it and it's a win win. Loved listening to them tell Aaron and Clarke's story. I hope you enjoy this book and series as much as I have.

Book 7 in the Arizona Vengeance Series and just when you think it can’t get any better Ms Bennett throws a spanner in the works with yet another swoon worthy hero and this one goes by the name of Aaron Wylde. Wylde by name and Wild by nature, this man is player on the team and off the team, he lives up to his celebrity status and truth be known he loves every minute of it but that’s all about to change when a beautiful nerdy woman turns his life upside down..... Clark runs a local bookshop and she is happy with her life, she certainly doesn’t want a celebrity raking up her past so she does her best to say no to the man she is extremely attracted to but even her willpower is no match for Wylde the man who is used to getting what he wants..... This book ticked all my boxes, I loved everything about this story, the characters are adorable, the story is romantic and sexy and let’s not forget it’s always great to catch up with the Arizona Vengeance players and their families. I love this series and I really don’t want it to end so I’m excited for the next instalment from this very talented author. If you love hockey and romance you need to one click this gem of a read which is a great addition to the series.
