Oh how I've missed the Wicked Horse series. Thankfully Sawyer Bennett takes us back to Vegas with a story that not only brings the heat we expect but gives us a heartwarming and definitely heartbreaking tale. Benjamin and Elena are two broken, lost souls that find their initial connection through the Wild Horse fantasy app. With sizzling, off the charts chemistry like theirs the steam level rises with each encounter and before long their relationship is so much more. Each brings hope, love, and life to the other and you can't help but pull for them the two of them to find their way. This is a great story with exceptional characters, superior writing, and enough steam to frizz your hair. A definite must read! I highly recommend it.

Wow! I don’t think I’ve read two characters more upfront about what they want, about their feelings, and just so honest with each other. No holds barred, just say it as it is. Elena especially does not shy away from what she wants, she makes no excuses and if she thinks there may be an issue, she confronts it head in. No games, well not mind games, there’s plenty of games in the bedroom, and everywhere else for that matter. Elena and Benjamin are so sexually compatible, they are like two peas in a pod in some ways, and yet in other ways they are so different. Benjamin, a neurosurgeon, rich, successful, mourning the death of his family, and just wanting to feel again. Elena, a hairdresser with her own business, not struggling to make ends meet at all, but not overly wealthy, not wanting to love, but needing to connect. Wonderful writing (as always), I love Sawyer Bennett’s words, a book to get lost in. Lots of passion, emotion and sexy time. As always, utterly and completely 100% entertaining romance. I received an advanced copy of this book from the author. This is my honest review.

This book has it all - wonderful characters, a good storyline, and lots of steam. Benjamin is a neurosurgeon who suffered a great tragedy that has left him with both emotional and physical wounds. He has completely shutdown and isolated himself in his grief. Elena had given up on relationships and finds herself at the Wicked Horse club. With them both wanting to avoid romantic relationships and only focus on fulfilling their fantasies, it seems that the two are the perfect match. However, what happens when you go into a no-strings-attached relationship and end up finding love instead? I really liked Elena. She was so caring and understanding. She wasn’t easily putt off by Benjamin’s gruff exterior and she was someone who knew what she wanted inside the bedroom. My heart broke for Benjamin. He had endured so much and it was obvious that he was battling some heavy demons. The hotness factor between the two of them was off the charts. I seriously thought that my kindle was going to melt with some of those scenes! I really enjoyed watching their relationship evolve into something deeper and more meaningful. While this book is a part of the Wicked Horse Vegas series, Wicked Angel can be read as a standalone. I have not read all of the previous books and I had no trouble following along. Because I enjoyed this book so much, I definitely plan to go back and read the rest of the series. Overall, I really enjoyed Wicked Angel - the characters were likable and well developed; the plot was good and moved at a good pace; and the sizzling chemistry between the couple was palpable. I’ve read an early copy of this book and all thoughts and opinions are my own.
