Sarah Young war viele Jahre als Missionarin in Japan und Australien tätig. Zuletzt lebte sie wieder in den USA und arbeitete bei "Mission to the World". Ihr Andachtsbuch "Ich bin bei dir" hat ein Millionenpublikum erreicht. Im Jahr 2023 verstarb sie im Alter von 77 Jahren.
