This is the fourth book in this incredible series, and this is Laney and Luke’s journey. Laney is Luke’s overprotective best friends’ younger sister. Now Laney is a horse trainer, and she is back in town, while Luke is a deputy. Luke is determined to do whatever he must to convince her to give them a chance of being together. This is a well written story which is told in dual POV’s, and has family, friendships, emotions, regrets, secrets, challenges, intrigue, suspense, and love, which leads to

I absolutely loved Laney and Luke’s story. These two have an inevitable love and I love how it was worded in the end, they are partners in life, in love, and in business. These two loved each other as kids but she was his best friends little sister and lots of confusion along with immaturity kept them apart. This story pulled me in from the beginning and is so we written that you begin to feel like you know the characters. A captivating read that I didn't want to end.

the 4th book in the McFarland series and this story keeps the high standard of the previous three. Laneys character was introduced briefly in the previous books as was Luke, their story together was skilfully developed, misunderstandings were revealed and overcome. These two quickly became my favourite couple...... until the next book,probably

Hi, I'm SJ, a coffee addict, lover of chocolate and drinker of good red wines. I'm a lost soul and a hopeless romantic. Reading and writing are necessary parts of who I am. Though perhaps not as necessary as coffee! I can drink coffee without writing, but I can't write without coffee.

 I grew up loving romance novels, my first boyfriends were book boyfriends, but life intervened, as it tends to do, and I wandered down the paths of non fiction for many years. My life changed completely a couple of years ago and I returned to Romance to find my escape.

 I write 'Sweet N Steamy' stories because to me there is enough angst and darkness in real life. My favorite romances are happy escapes with a focus on fun, friendships and happily-ever-afters, just like the ones I write.

 These days I live in beautiful Montana, the last best place. If I'm not reading or writing you'll find me just down the road in the park - Yellowstone. I have deer, eagles and the occasional bear for company, and I like it that way :0)
