Although Morgan is at Quantico working to become an FBI agent Danielle requests his help to investigate the murder of a scientist, and soon after another victim is found, and a few days another one. There is nothing to link all the victims that makes sense and all the fresh looks that Morgans brings to the case reveal little until they find a lead that could cost them their lives as the culprit is totally deranged. Great story and plot, and it seems like Morgan has no regrets regarding his choic

Another good book in this series. Solidly written, tight plot, interesting character. Doc turned FBI agent. Not Scarpetta but still a fun read.
