The Invitation: Prequel by Roxy Sloane Genres: Adult, Erotica, Romance 2.75 Stars Reading this review will probably make your head 🤯 I know writing it and trying to make sense of this 'Series' made me 😵😖. The Good 1. Extremely well written 2. World and character build well done 3. Great connection between the MC's 4. A beauty of an adult erotic romance The Bad & The Ugly 1. Chopped into short serials. This I could forgive if not for other problems. 2. Shorts are extremely highly priced, $5.99 for each book in this series & there are apparently 8 of them. 3. The series has TWO separate names on GR but they are the SAME series. Series names are; 'The Invitation' & 'The Seduction'. There is only one series listed on Amazon. 4. The disorganization of the listings and how they are numbered gives me a headache. On Amazon 'Seduction' is listed as book #1. This book 'Surrender' can not be found. When I purchased 'The Invitation' this book was in it and listed as book #2. 'The Invitation' is listed as book #1 the prequel. You can not have 2 books in the same series as book 1. 5. The Invitation, which is listed as book 1 on GR, is listed as book #3 on Amazon. 6. Amazon says there are 8 books in 'The Surrender' a.k.a. 'The Invitation' series. GR has only 4 books listed in 'The Surrender' series and they do not have the same titles as Amazon. However, GR has 'The Invitation' series listed as having 3 books in it, these do have separate titles, but they are NOT listed in that series on Amazon since that series does NOT exist. I really liked the stories and how they were written and wanted to continue them. That is not going to happen now. I would have to be a 'Mental Contortionist' to figure out which book is the actual 1st book and which book comes next in the series. I would have to do a lot of work to find the actual titles to the other books in the series. Then pay a sh@# ton of money to purchase them and always be unsure as to what I am getting. So, alas, I will not continue with this series, nor with Ms. Roxy Sloane. It is just not worth the hassle.

Short. Decent bdsm technique. Plot was completely transparent.
