I have to say this is now one of my all time favourite's. I have been traveling around Asia and every time I read this it takes me back home to Britain, which at times has been a great source of comfort to me.

I love it read it in class and loved it not the best ending but the book made me think and plus we got to watch the movie in class on january 21 2015. The movie had a lot if driffrences but that was okay .in the end this has been a great book for me bye

About the author

Roger Lancelyn Green was born in 1918. He loved storytelling and was fascinated by traditional fairy tales, myths and legends from around the world. His retellings include Egyptian, Greek and Norse legends, plus a retelling of Robin Hood. He died in 1987.
