About this ebook

Featuring an exclusive Art of Ruin Mist insert with illustrations from original paintings, and many additional extraordinary extras, this powerful fantasy novel will delight even the most demanding fantasy enthusiast! About the Author: Robert Stanek is the award-winning, international best-selling author of more than 65 books for young people and adults. He lives with his wife and children in the Pacific Northwest in the United States, and is intensely fascinated with our natural world. He loves the outdoors and frequently takes his family on short trips to see the natural wonders of the Pacific Northwest, including Mount Rainier, Mount St. Helens, the Columbia River Gorge, and Puget Sound. About the Book: After the Great War that divided the peoples, the kingdoms of men plunged into a Dark Age that lasted 500 years. To heal the lands and restore the light, the great kings decreed that magic and all that is magical, be it creature, man, or device, shall be cleansed to dust. The cleansing raged for so long that no human could recall a time without it and it is in this time that the Dark Lord Sathar returned from the dark beyond. The one hope of the peoples of Ruin Mist was Queen Mother, the elf queen of old. She saw a way out of everlasting darkness, a path that required the union of the divided peoples. And so it began.

Robert Stanek says he is an award winning, bestselling author yet won't list what awards or bestseller lists he's on so you can verify his claims yourself. If he is referring to the New York Times Bestseller's List, that's a lie because self-published books aren't recognized by the NYT. Seriously, Google this guy.

Keeper Martins Tale is an amazing adventure that will keep you wanting to turn page after page. You meet Adrian and Vilmos right away. She is a teen princess in a dying kingdom. He is a boy who lives in another land. Something dark is happening in the lands at the beginning. Adrina learns about a terrible plot and that her family is somehow involved. The suspense is held throughout and there are peaks and valleys throughout. I'm really glad that I read this. I plan to read it again soon.

Recently I finished The Inheritance Cycle. I liked it better than Pern and it's better written than the Eragon books, Great fun reading. Glad I found this. Ive had trouble finding a great long story to jump in to. Now I have another wonderful fantasy author to read. I look forward to the next book. I love those monsters !!!!!
