About this ebook

Serafina's defeat of the Man in the Black Cloak has brought her out of the shadows and into the daylight realm of her home, Biltmore Estate. Every night she visits her mother in the forest, eager to learn the ways of the cat¬amount. But Serafina finds herself caught between her two worlds: she's too wild for Biltmore's beautifully dressed ladies and formal customs, and too human to fully join her kin.

Late one night, Serafina encounters a strange and terrifying figure in the forest, and is attacked by the vicious wolfhounds that seem to be under his control. Even worse, she's convinced that the stranger was not alone, that he has sent his accomplice into Biltmore in disguise.

Someone is wreaking havoc at the estate. A mysterious series of attacks test Serafina's role as Biltmore's protector, culminating in a tragedy that tears Serafina's best friend and only ally, Braeden Vanderbilt, from her side. Heartbroken, she flees.

Deep in the forest, Serafina comes face-to-face with the evil infecting Biltmore—and discovers its reach is far greater than she'd ever imagined. All the humans and creatures of the Blue Ridge Mountains are in terrible danger. For Serafina to defeat this new evil before it engulfs her beloved home, she must search deep inside herself and embrace the destiny that has always awaited her.

I heard about Serafina and the Black Cloak and just had to get it for my granddaughter who loves to read. I vowed to read it with her and then we would take her to visit Biltmore together. It was an absolutely wonderful, amazing and delightful experience for both of us. I had been to Biltmore on two other occasions, but exploring it with my granddaughter was the best trip of all. Now that I have read book two...and passing it on to my granddaughter, I look forward to another visit to Biltmore so we can look for more of the things and places mentioned in "The Twisted Staff." I might be a grandma, but I enjoy the books every bit as much as a young person. I guess you can say no matter how old someone gets, they can still be a young reader at heart. Thank you so very much for this amazing, exciting, historical, touching, adventure that mixes real with imagination that also includes "life lessons" of loyality, true friendship, respect, cooperation, where good can win out over evil. This book also teaches it's readers that in friendship and respect we all can live and work together and be kind to all who are different from ourselves.

I loved it sooooo much. The first book aka Serafina and the black cloak was sooooo good. It WAS kinda creepy, the first book, but I liked it. This one was full of adventure and is for the middle age group. And by that I mean around ages 9- 12 or maby the age 13. I highly recommend this book for people who like adventure and mistry novels. That is if you have not already read the book. P.s please give this comment a thumbs up.☺ if you do not I will feel😢😢😢
