It makes you understand the series a lot more and in general, I like all the Percy Jackson books plus the hero's of olmpus. I have read other very amazing books, but this series and hero's of olmpus is really my favorite! But only if he could make more Percy Jackson books. Or with the romans......at least. Pleeeeeas make more series I can't stand being Bord, I have to do something, so I read the Percy Jackson series(plus the other one) but there are no more!!!pleas make more... And could you some how throw all the Percy Jackson movies away and start reading the books people!!!!!!!!!!!

Let me just say. I have never been this into a series since Twilight. Rick Riordan has done an excellent job with Percy Jackson and Greek Mythology. Rick has been able to spark a curiosity into Greek Mythology I never thought I would be this into a series, but I am! I can't wait to finish book 5!
