About this ebook

"There's no way to beat this game. The only difference is when and where you die..."
One month has passed since Akihiko Kayaba's deadly game began, and the body count continues to rise. Two thousand players are already dead.
Kirito and Asuna are two very different people, but they both desire to fight alone. Nonetheless, they find themselves drawn together to face challenges from both within and without. Given that the entire virtual world they now live in has been created as a deathtrap, the surviving players of Sword Art Online are starting to get desperate, and desperation makes them dangerous to loners like Kirito and Asuna. As it becomes clear that solitude equals suicide, will the two be able to overcome their differences to find the strength to believe in each other, and in so doing survive?
Sword Art Online: Progressive is a new version of the Sword Art Online tale that starts at the beginning of Kirito and Asuna's epic adventure--on the very first level of the deadly world of Aincrad!

good book but one critique there was way too much information that left me confused also the decision of the author to contradict the original SAO leaves me divided anyway enough ranting I would recommend it then decide if you want to continue with progressive

Hope it continues, still. As has been said, much more character development and world-building than the prior SAO iterations of the same narrative timeline. A good read. Although, I'll always prefer paper copies, after all, if I buy something, I want to actually OWN something (real). I'm not saying eBooks/digital content are a scam... but the point's been sufficiently made by many others, so I don't have to.

I first started reading Sword Art Online Progressive(SAOP) after watching the anime. Now, I will admit that I haven't read the original novel, nor the manga. However, I really enjoyed the anime, particularly the Aincrad arc of Season 1. My only complaint was that it skipped a lot and made huge jumps in time. This is a great remedy to that, filling in all the gaps that the anime unfortunately left. A must read for anyone who enjoyed the Aincrad Arc of SAO.
