About this ebook

Read the novel that ignited the phenomenon!
After three hundred years of conflict, a new era begins for the Underworld. The Lost Child of Vecta, who seemed to appear out of nowhere, has defeated the Dark God and given the world its first taste of peace. The human realm and dark realm have begun to intermingle, sparking the beginning of a much-needed cultural exchange. But while some see this as an opportunity to bury the hatchet and move forward, others are determined to sow the seeds of chaos anew. High in Central Cathedral, Apprentice Integrity Knight Ronie Arabel's heart sinks as she receives foreboding words from Swordsman Delegate Kirito: "At this rate, there's going to be another war."

Wow. I really REALLY hope this arc gets animated at some point. This is some of the only scraps of information we have of events that took place during this time period. That 200 years is super important, and I hope it's explored more. This was my first SAO LN. It will be far from my last. Iskhan is one of my favorite characters at this point. He's an amazing leader and an amazing father. Bringing Ronie to the front and showing her growth, especially in that last fight, was a fantastic choice. And it's amazing to see Kirito and Asuna continue to interact with the Underworld, and show just how much they've thought about protecting it, and maintaining the peace. Kirito especially continues to show incredible charisma with everyone, and still gets serious when needed. Just wow. I know Unital Ring is after this, but I hope we return to this time period again. Next up, Volume 20.
