About the author

Keith Negley resides in the foothills of Bellingham, WA, where he makes picture books and teaches illustration at Western Washington University. He is a frequent contributor to the New York Times and the New Yorker, in addition to many other national publications. His first book, Tough Guys (Have Feelings Too), received a Kate Greenaway Medal nomination in 2016. In addition to his many other awards, Keith has received four medals from the Society of Illustrators.His other books include My Dad Used to Be So Cool, Mary Wears What She Wants, and Art Is Life: The Life of Artist Keith Haring.
