As always I love reading books by RaeAnne Thayne. It was an easy read and I enjoyed the second chance story theme. I jumped in and the story flew by. I would highly recommend to anyone who likes a sweet story. The story followed three different family members and their journey to find true lasting love. Aunt Stella has a second chance with Ed. They are a cute couple and so happy that they re-connected later in life. Beatrix needs to choose between her ex-husband Cruz (who wants a second chance) and her longtime friend Shane. Daisy meets Gabe who comes into her life for the first time. They go on a roller coaster ride but I love all of it. I hope that this is a first in a series as I would love to continue and see where they go in the future.

This is a beautifully told story of family, relationships, sacrifices, and most of all love. Daisey and Bev come to live with their Aunt Stella in Cape Sanctuary after their mother passed away. They never knew the personal sacrifices Stella made for them. Now they are all grown up and back in Cape Sanctuary. Secrets will be revealed, new love found, along with twists, turns and trouble along the way. Yet at the very core there is always love and the steady hand of family. This story is also full of hope and joy and in my opinion not to be missed! Put this on the must read list. I highly recommend it.

I’ve been reading and enjoying books by RaeAnne Thayne for years, but I must say that she has outdone herself with The Cliff House. The beautiful cover set the stage, and the story pulled me right in from the start and kept me turning pages far into the night. I was captivated by the three women in the story—Daisy and Beatriz, and their aunt Stella. Although she was only a few years older than the girls, Stella took them in when they were orphaned and gave them a home and the love they desperately needed. Thayne has deftly and seamlessly woven three separate romantic stories into one compelling and beautiful tale. With a gorgeous, richly-painted setting near the California coast and colorful, multi-layered, and endearing characters, she kept me guessing as the twists and turns continued throughout the story. Exquisitely crafted and packed with emotion, this book has earned a spot on my keeper shelf and taken over as my favorite book from this author. I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy from the author/publisher. All opinions are my own.
