As a 5th Grader, this book is inspiring and well written. Rachel Renee Russel's book, Tales from a Not-So-Fabulous Life really caught my eye in the library, I picked it up, checked it out, and started reading! Nikki Maxwell is an inspiring character that girls ages 10-14 can probably relate to. For instance, liking Brandon! I had certainly liked someone and been unsure if they liked me! This book is a bright opening to Nikki's future. The comedy throughout is outstanding! Anytime I read a Dork Diaries book I laugh so hard. Dork Diaries gives us a way into Nikki's mind, and may I say diary, so that we love reading. Ages: 10+ Rating: Four Stars
