R.A Salvatore's Jarxyle...how he's written him is just truly, truly, astounding and masterful. Jarxyle is not the protagonist, antagonist, comic relief, side character, or anything relevant to books and their stories being told and being memorable...but he can be any one of those tropes, at any time, and it will be up to the reader to figure out which one; then have the reader second guess him/herself if they're right about their guess lol 🤣

Every page in this novel helped weave a spellbinding fantasy,that had me yearning for more. If you have read R.A. Salvatore's other works you'll not be suprised to find this an amazing read. If you havn't read his other works then prepare for a great book with amazing characters and great action(also you should stop and read the Drizzt series). Enjoy!

book before this was a bit boring. but man this was refreshing new main character take from the Salvatore. and characters are always on point interesting.

About the author

R.A. Salvatore was born in Massachusetts in 1959. He is the New York Times–bestselling author of more than forty novels, including the popular Forgotten Realms series, The Legend of Drizzt. His love affair with fantasy, and with literature in general, began during his sophomore year of college when he was given a copy of J.R.R. Tolkien’s The Lord of the Rings as a Christmas gift. He promptly changed his major from computer science to journalism. He began writing seriously in 1982, penning the manuscript that would become Echoes of the Fourth Magic.

His first published novel was The Crystal Shard from TSR in 1988, and his novel The Silent Bladewon the Origins Award. He is still best known as the creator of dark elf Drizzt Do’Urden, one of fantasy’s most beloved characters.
