This book was painfully bad. It seems to be one of Salvatore's earliest books (I hope it is anyway) and it definitely feels like that. I know a lot of Salvatore's stuff is tropy, but this book honestly seems to be nothing but tropes. It also has not aged well. Don't even bother reading it. I'll be doing myself that same favor with its sequals.
