A fun and Interesting concept, but I don't find it to be done particularly well. I gather R.A. Salvatore has a large following and his work probably gets a certain leniency from those followers.

Detailed world you can loose yourself in, loveable characters who seem as if they could jump out if the pages, and a story that will keep you on the edge, always wondering what will happen next, if you stop reading long enough to think about it! Everything you could ask for in the genre of high fantasy, and more!!!

The graphic novel version doesn't do justice enough to the original book. This is like reading the Cliff Notes or PowerPoint presentation of a masterpiece; the plot is revealed but the art is lost. It's a fun comic book, but read the original version and enjoy how good the author really is.
