Did you ever fall harder and faster for a heroine than a hero in a romance book? It has only happened a few times with me and Nova from this series is one of them. She is equally brave and vulnerable, sassy and sweet, compassionate and a fighter, inspiring and a tiny bit insecure. She loves Clay with all his darkness and through the emotionally intense journey of their relationships and to his dream, while getting her pieces together and achieving her own goals. Isn’t that epic? Our grumpy stubborn alpha baller needed someone in his corner and Nova was perfect. They went through some heartbreaking times,lost their paths but love conquers all. I love how the sports itself and the bromance of the Kodiaks stand out like an important character, bringing the tension and adrenaline rush to this spicy and emotional finale of Nova and Clay's story. Clay and Nova go through some major growth both individually and as a couple. Nova is finally becoming a strong, independent woman chasing after her dreams and passion.
