I liked the concept of "a hero with a weakness"! Ex-detective Thomas Blume is a character with some rough edges and an addiction. The latter acquired as a consequence to a personal tragedy. The first four books lead the reader in Blue's quest to solve the mystery of his personal tragedy, whereby the first book sets the scene for the sequels. The books kept me captivated and I had to force myself to stop reading unless I wanted to risk reading through the night (and feel like Blume feels most of the times) good read!

Blume reminds me of Harry Hole ,Jo Nesbo's detective.But Blume is not exactly an alcoholic.I enjoyed reading Hard Fall and I am eager to read further adventures of Blume.

Rapid read, spare setting descriptives allowing character to be the story/teller. 💥👍
