About the author

Peter F. Drucker was a writer, teacher, and consultant. His 34 books have been published in more than 70 languages. He founded the Peter F. Drucker Foundation for Nonprofit Management, and counseled 13 governments, public services institutions, and major corporations. Alan M. Kantrow is an advisor to tertiary educational institutions around the world. Rick Wartzman is the executive director of the Drucker Institute at Claremont Graduate University and writes frequently about management and leadership. His most recent book is Drucker: A Life in Pictures. Julia Kirby is an HBR editor at large. She is at work on a book about automation in knowledge work.
