About this ebook

I'm working off my buttons. But I'm also giving them away.

The more I fall for Crow, the more I want him to do the things that I want. Dinners, dates, and evenings at the beach.

Everything comes at a price, and quickly the hoard of buttons I worked hard to earn are depleted.

Will this go back and forth forever? Or will someone run out of their buttons first?

The beginning caught me off guard. I was hooked immediately. However it got a little redundant in the middle but it picked back up the excitement towards the end only yet again to leave me hanging. I was disappointed by the ending and wish it would have gone further to beginning of Pearl's revenge. Of course now I have to wait for book 2 & 3.

I must confess that being a woman (and a mother), it was somewhat difficult reading about the horrors of sex trafficking and the sadistic people behind the inhuman activity; nevertheless, I must commend Ms Penelope Sky for her genius artistic ability to bring these stories to the written page. *side note* Like a previous reader, I too was wondering why these female characters never got pregnant or infected with STDs

So I just started this series a few days ago and OMG! I love it! The erotic power plays. The sizzling sex scenes, raw and animalistic. This book is dripping with sex and power. The darkness is deliciously taboo. I also love there's actually a story that grips me and leaves me begging for more! Do yourself a favor, start reading this series and keep a towel handy lol!😋
