This is a really good manga series. Great for newcomers and veterans. The story is incredibly real and even if you think it's weird to have talking animals, you will most likely still enjoy it!

Wasn't sure what I would think, considering I saw some of the anime first, but it is quite enjoyable so far and very fun to read. I'd say give it a chance if you liked Zootopia.

10/10 would recommend, its fun, action packed, has loveable characters and just overall a great read! It really brings the the fun and excitement of a manga for me personally, I encourage you to try it out for yourself!

Paru Itagaki began her professional career as a manga author in 2016 with the short story collection Beast Complex. Beastars is her first serialization. Beastars has won multiple awards in Japan, including the prestigious 2018 Manga Taisho Award.
