If you want to get truth, perspective and life, these words will change you. Even though I purchased this a few months ago, I decided to start on January 1st and move forward. Doing it this way I've felt in myself a sense of revival, and ordered steps in my walk as a disciple. Some mornings I can't help but read several days at a time, while some mornings I can't help rereading the same day over and over again for the next three days until the message my Spirit knows to be true makes it's way from my heart all the way to my brain. The book and its writings plus scripture passages are a real gift. To have it on Google play allows me to pull it up anywhere, even while traveling. I am really grateful for Mr. Chambers for speaking these and for Mrs. Chambers for writing them down and compiling. I am also grateful for Google's formatting. We are really blessed for their guidance and following of the HS and for this technology. This book as a journey will bring you closer in your relationship with Jesus the Christ of Nazareth.

A cherished gift from church friends and key part of my devotional life since 1983. Literally wore out a classic version and replaced it with the updated about 6 years ago. Despite 25 years of use, new insights every day! Rarely, do written works consistently glorify God so powerfully like "My Utmost"!

This challenges to the "Utmost". It puts the Christians in the place that God intended us to be- sons/daughters of God and this is the eternal life that Jesus died for - John 17:3.

About the author

Oswald Chambers (1874–1917) is best known for the classic devotional My Utmost for His Highest. Born in Scotland, Chambers had a teaching and preaching ministry that took him as far as the United States and Japan. He died at age forty-three while serving as chaplain to Allied troops in Egypt during World War I.
