About this ebook

Oscar Wilde was one of the most successful playwrights of late Victorian London, and a bonafide cultural icon. 'The Canterville Ghost' was his first published story, and is now one of his most popular, having been adapted many times. Many of the earliest ghost stories, particularly those dating back to the 1900s and before, are now extremely scarce and increasingly expensive. We are republishing these classic works in affordable, high quality, modern editions, using the original text and artwork.

Dull and patronising especially about the Americans. Ie little girl who was about 18 yrs old. Lol Still the book was better than the TV version.

Its a book filled with punctilious humour and sarcasm but doesn't give you the goosebumps or the creeps..!!But overall for those who fear ghosts and entities its a must read book..!!

Excelente historia de un escritor inteligente y divertido como Wilde. Si bien a veces se hace difícil leer su inglés fuera de uso, no me presentó problemas de comprensión. Me encantó.
