About this ebook

I-i-it's not like a spider needs friends!
I did it! I'm finally an Arachne!...Aaand things already aren't going the way I thought they would. I'm inexplicably on a road trip with the Demon Lord, a reincarnated baby, and her troubled vampire guardian. I don't really interact with them much, besides subjecting my reborn classmate to insane training, watching the party sneak off into villages, hearing about the delicious food they eat...Wait, hold up. Doesn't it seem like I'm the only one who's being left out?!? W-w-well, the monsters up here taste delicious, so whatever! Sniff, sniff. I wonder if my other brains are having a better time... What are they even up to?

Not to much happened in this volume, the side story with the old wizard Ronandt had me laughing but other than that there wasn't much that stood out to me. We do see some import events referenced in the previous side stories begin to happen but overall this volume felt like it was just setting up the next one without having anything to stand on itself. I'm still excited about the next volume as much as I was for this one, it's a great story I just think this volume will be a low point for me is all.

This volume was absolutely amazing and I read it in two days between work. Introduced a ton of new characters as well as developed core characters, all while making our little sociopath of a spider a little less so. I'm starting the next one right now.

A different shift in tone, mostly slice of life and character development and focusing on the interesting conflict some of the characters have with each other as they travel together. The character interactions are *amazing*, but it won't be a good volume if you're expecting intense action.
