Awesome historical insight! This man made Hitler look like a boyscout! The only other evil equal to him in the last century would be the Imperial Japanese generals that oversaw and allowed the rape of Nanking! Truly murderous thugs without a soul or conscious!

Very informative however poorly written with an erratic layout which can be difficult to follow.

I found this book very informative. The format was a bit erratic, but overall a good read.

About the author

Nigel Cawthorne studied at University College, London, where he gained an Honours degree in Physics, before turning to writing as a career. He has written, contributed to and edited more than 100 books, including Fighting Them On The Beaches: D-Day, 6 June 1944, The Battle of Britain, Vietnam: A War Lost and Won, and The Story of the SS.
