About this ebook

It's Dade's last summer at home, and things are pretty hopeless. He has a crappy job, a "boyfriend" who treats him like dirt, and his parents' marriage is falling apart. So when he meets and falls in love with the mysterious Alex Kincaid, Dade feels like he's finally experiencing true happiness. But when a tragedy shatters the final days of summer, he realizes he must face his future and learn how to move forward from his past.

This book had me in tears when I finished it. I gave it 4 stars because of the way the story was told. It felt so real, tragic but real. I read this book right after reading "something like summer" and I found this to be far darker in all aspects. Definitely a good read, but if your thinking of reading it you should know up front that it's deep and profound and will have you in tears.

It was alright for me. It was well-written and there were some graphic parts that were unexpected but other than that, it was average for me.
