About this ebook

From the author of A Walk to Remember comes a moving tale of redemption and first love when a rebellious teenager decides to spend the summer with her estranged father in a North Carolina beach town.Seventeen year old Veronica "Ronnie" Miller's life was turned upside-down when her parents divorced and her father moved from New York City to Wilmington, North Carolina. Three years later, she remains angry and alienated from her parents, especially her father...until her mother decides it would be in everyone's best interest if she spent the summer in Wilmington with him. Ronnie's father, a former concert pianist and teacher, is living a quiet life in the beach town, immersed in creating a work of art that will become the centerpiece of a local church.
The tale that unfolds is an unforgettable story of love on many levels--first love, love between parents and children -- that demonstrates, as only a Nicholas Sparks novel can, the many ways that love can break our hearts . . . and heal them.

The Last Song. This is such a good book. I loved it, it was one of my favorite books from Nicholas Sparks. He did such a great job it really shows how teen life can be for us teens and how we can overcome even the most diffucult of things. Once you start reading you don't want to put it down you want to see what happens to Ronnie, Will, Her Dad, Ect. Its a love story based on this girl named Veronica (Ronnie) who goes to her dads house for the summer. She doesn't really want to be there because of her dad but she puts up with him meets this boy named will they fall in love and she starts to realize that her dad really isn't so bad. She has had things rough and when things finally start to get good again in her life she finds out that her dad has cancer and has only a little time left. It's an incredible story and I strongly encourage you to read it. It's funny, intense, cute, and a real tear jerker. Everything I love in a book. Read it and trust me you will not regret it.

Beautiful story...I never usually cry wile reading novels but this book broke that trend. If you are sensitive, it may not seem like it from the synopsis, but it is actually very very sad. But beautifully written, just like the Notebook.

I was skepticale about going to see the movie because the trailer looked odd, but I went anyway and ended up balling my eyes out 8 times. I'm a guy too! I got the book on my iPod and did absolutely nothing for an entire week but the read my book every second I got. One of the most amazing, heartbreaking and inspiration books ever!
