About this ebook

“Who can ask for better cosmic tour guides to the universe than Drs. Tyson and Goldsmith?” —Michio Kaku, author of Hyperspace and Parallel Worlds Our true origins are not just human, or even terrestrial, but in fact cosmic. Drawing on recent scientific breakthroughs and the current cross-pollination among geology, biology, astrophysics, and cosmology, ?Origins? explains the soul-stirring leaps in our understanding of the cosmos. From the first image of a galaxy birth to Spirit Rover's exploration of Mars, to the discovery of water on one of Jupiter's moons, coauthors Neil deGrasse Tyson and Donald Goldsmith conduct a galvanizing tour of the cosmos with clarity and exuberance.

CAUTION: Family Sharing is disabled on this book. Which means you'll need to purchase it multiple times if you want to share it with your close family. You can share the book with anyone you like if you purchase a physical copy, so it seems unnecessarily greedy they would choose to punish digital readers by not allowing Family Sharing, which is almost always enabled with digital books, especially non-fiction books. I'll have to download this instead of purchasing it - good job publishers.

I cannot recommend this book highly enough to fellow enquiring minds. Written in a very easy to understand way, this book skillfully presents information from many branches of science to present a cohesive, compelling narrative, I found it difficult indeed to put down. The authors enthusiasm and wealth of knowledge comes through in the words, and I found it difficult to not get swept along and put the book down. If you have even just a passing interest in science and how things really came to be the way they are now, if you've ever gazed up to the sky at night full of wonder, I have no doubt you will love this book!
