The lack of progress on part of the titular Lich is getting tad frustrating, but I enjoyed the developments with Kotone and what seems to be a push to real conflict with the Gods.

spoiler warning for vol 1-2: The framing theme of this being effectively a TV show for the gods gets more interesting as Kanata deals with his still absurd view of things. The characters still have their obsessions, even the new ones, but it feels fun and lively making the characters a little more cartoonist.
