I was looking forward to this book for a long time and I'm glad that to read about this new alpha pair. (I do miss reading about the DarkRiver cats though! ) The reason for the mating bond taking root leaves others open and we get new stories. This Psy/Changeling world is fascinating and also very 'human'. I was glad to see where the human pack members were also valuable in times of war. Walker and Lara story is beautiful and I'm looking forward to learning more about the Arrows who aren't completely gone and about their teacher who taught them how to 'live' (Walker). Hopefully we'll get to meet more puppies/kittens - especially Riley/Mercy combo :D I'm enjoying this series so much and wish Nalini Singh all the best for the coming year!

Loved the book with faith nightstar. I couldn't put it down so i bought this one. I got bored. Some chapters kept me intrigued but others i suffered thru.

One of the best books I've read. As good as book 1 with Lucas and Sasha.
