Absolutely loved the audio version. Ironically enough the 1st song picked on my list of at least 3000 songs, completely out of random right after the end of the book, was “lower” by nofx. It felt as though it served as poetic irony. Suddenly, even though I already loved nofx, Their music seemed to make so much more sense. Especially “first ditch effort,” Which seemed to complement the book even more.

Seeing a band perform is one thing, but to be able to tag along for the off-stage stories is another. It's amazing to read and understand the life before and during NOFX's fame. Their struggles with drugs, alcohol and death is greatly documented at times hilarious and some times a true sob story. Devoted fans, casual fans and even people unaware of NOFX, will be in for a treat into the life of these four individuals once the amps turn off.

An incredible insight into my favourite band of all time. Some of the stuff they've experienced and partaken in is simply mind blowing. Told from the viewpoint of each band member, chapter by chapter, it's a fascinating read that's very hard to put down. Inspiring, heartfelt, at times tragic, but always genuine, you really feel you've seen a side of NOFX that you never knew existed. Put into perspective it all makes sense, and adds so much more depth to their music and lyrics. Buy it, you won't regret it.
