The reason I chose this edition of the NABRE is the way they do the footnotes (for this google books edition). When you tap on a footnote while reading on a tablet or smartphone, the footnote comes up in a nifty pop-up window, which makes it much easier to read the footnotes. Other NABRE editions either don't hotlink the notes at all, or will send you to the footnote page. With the pop-up window, it allows staying on the same page without losing place. I also like that the footnote pages are after each set of chapters and not grouped all at the ends of the books. Very well done, and at a very good price.

If you are not connected to the Internet doesn't work... this way it is a very expensive Bible, they are only making money with no much work... has to be offline, to have it in my tablet...

Great Bible but until we can download it so it can be used offline, I discourage downloading it to everyone.
