I read little bit of the sample where I have found the mistake like I found in the original book. In the definition of the first chapter 1.3 Unit Vectors, look at the example , we know that unit vector a=A/|A|, in the given example 1.1 , |A|=3 , then it must be a=A/3, but it is mistakenly written a=|A|/3 , although it's a simple fault..but in latter chapters , I found more mistakes as well.. Although the book is really nice and helped me alot to study.😃 I think such mistakes should be corrected and the book needs to be reprinted, to get more satisfaction from the readers. Thankful to the writters.

This book has obviously not been proof read as it has some obvious glaring errors. So despite the topic being presented in a clear enough manner the reader should be on their toes and double check some of the content on occasion using other sources.

Murray R. Spiegel held positions at Harvard University, Columbia University, Oak Ridge and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and served as a mathematical consultant at several large companies. His last Position was professor and Chairman of mathematics at the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute Hartford Graduate Center. He was the author of numerous journal articles and books on various topics in mathematics.
Seymour Lipschutz, Ph.D., is a Mathematics professor who has written more than 15 Schaum's Outlines.
