I'm not a well enough read person to make a foul judgment, so I am giving the book the highest rating because there were a few events in the book that utterly surprised me. I loved the proverbial element associated with Ted, the top military guy; I loved the diplomatic information. A fine book!

It is indeed unexpected. Looking at the cover, I thought this is an Adult Sci-Fi. But apparently, it's for young adults. This is something that I think teenagers can follow. Not too hard to read. But not too childish either. It is kind of unrealistic how Adults are seemingly useless in the book. But considering that it's a book for young adults, I think the storyline and the plot are acceptable. I'd say it's a decent book.

This is the first book I've read by this author and I loved it which is putting it lightly. It kept me on the edge of my seat not the entire book of course but there were moments I was thought "I don't think I'm gonna be able to put it down until it's finished" because the storyline, characters, and the plot twist (oh my God the plot twist) caught me completely off guard and left me craving to know what was gonna happen next. I would definitely recommend to anyone who enjoys the sci-fi thriller genre. Plus the narrator does a superb job reading these characters and made it highly enjoyable. Morgan Rice did an excellent job with this book and I cannot wait to continue this series....... seriously if your reading this review, I know you don't know me in the slightest but trust me you won't regret reading or listening to the audiobook and you will be needing to know what's gonna happen next by the end. Definitely worth 5 stars.
