As Oliver searches for one of the great scientists and inventors of all time, the man who invented the telescope and who discovered planets, Oliver must wonder: is a he a seer, too? And what other secrets is he holding?

His brother Chris, more powerful than ever, remains determined to kill Oliver for all time. Oliver soon realizes it is a race against time, as the fate of the school—and of the world—is at stake.

Oliver and his friends head out on an adventure once more. This time they must save the School of Seers from destruction by finding the Scepter of fire. They get help along the way by historical figures such as Da Vinci and Galileo. On the flip side they still have Mistress Obsidian and Chris, Oliver's brother, doing whatever they can to make sure that Oliver doesnt recover the scepter. Rice. is a prolific writer, with a talent for making characters come alive, the ability to write exciting, fast paced scenes, and keep the story interesting.

Oliver Blue and his friends are up for another quest to save the school for seers. This pursuit was full of adventure, realization, and learnings for characters and readers alike. What I like about this book aside from it being my favourite genre, it emersed us to a different world, adventure, and the wonders of 'what if's' the world might have had for us. It is about love, friendship and family. Love stood out still even the main character struggled so much in choosing his dreamed family and the present life or timeline he was in where his friends and love were. It gave us the impression of what a person could be when faced in a difficult moment where if only he won't have to choose. It will also make us realize about what should we do or not. My favourite part is whenever they are in a new quest, where I am able to guess who will be the another known individual in the history they will be working with. It refreshes my memory about what I know about these persons and it made me also searched for something I do not know. I also found some flaws about the placing of things in historic events and in the POV as well. However the ending didn't satisfied me well. Maybe because I want a clear closure for the other characters. And the idea of making Oliver and Esther a couple always made me cringe.

I really enjoyed this mini series. It was fast Paced and exciting. I like the travels back in time to meet the worlds greatest inventors. I thought there could be more stories to be told and it’s a shame this was the last one.
